•Manage the project delivery for the organization.
•Identify emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and market opportunities that can be leveraged to gain a competitive edge.
•Champion a culture of innovation within the bank, fostering creativity, experimentation, and collaboration across departments.
•Secure senior management buy-in and allocate resources to support innovation initiatives.
•Build and maintain strategic relationships with key players in the innovation ecosystem (e.g., fintech startups, venture capitalists, academic institutions).
•Identify and collaborate with external innovation hubs to stay at the forefront of industry trends.
•Drive innovation initiatives that enhance the customer experience across all touchpoints (physical branches, digital channels, mobile banking).
•Lead the development and implementation of new financial products and services that leverage emerging technologies.
•Develop a framework for managing risks and regulatory standards associated with innovation initiatives while fostering a culture of responsible innovation.
•Identify and build partnerships that support innovation
•Stakeholder engagement to ensure innovation activities have required support and focus
•Conduct periodic review to ensure overall expenditure is within departmental budget
•Investigates reasons for budget variance and establish ways to reduce the variance
•Carry out continuous market research and intelligence so as to ensure that the innovations unit is agile
• Bachelor’s degree in business Admin, Finance, Technology or any related field.
• Professional Qualifications in Business, Projects, Technology, or related Qualification.
• Master’s Degree business Admin, Finance, Technology or any related field is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Business development & ideation, Product development, Design & execution of business plans & strategies, Banking operations, Customer Relationship Management.
