Today, through the @bprfoundation Ubumuntu Initiative, BPR staff donated RWF 4,370,000 to support over 1,450 vulnerable citizens in Kayonza District who are unable to afford Mutuelle de Santé.
The cheque was officially handed over earlier today to the Mayor of @kayonzadistrict, Mr. Fred Hategekimana, in the presence of sector executive leaders from across the district.
Speaking on behalf of BPR Bank, the Eastern Region Business Manager Mr Gakara Jean de Dieu emphasized that strengthening relationships within our communities is of great importance to the Bank and reaffirmed BPR’s commitment to supporting initiatives that improve the well-being of the communities we serve.
